The Doc and The Dude, Aka Dr Savi and Tony Cocks met over 20 years ago when they were both working at a refinery change management project.
On a 4 hour round trip to the client site it was only when the Doc dropped off the Dude back to his house, the Dude said, ‘see you soon’. The Doc replied:

Things were never the same again. A life long friendship started with the added benefit of talking about all things Sci-Fi, life, the universe and eventually some Sci-Fry!
Both have been working in new media since 2004 together with their independent consultancy practices. The Doc with Media Watch, Being Business Savvy, Best Practice PM, Come Chai with Me and The PRS PPL Smooth Groovers Jazz Fusion show. BTW The Doc also works in Radio.
The Dude has worked on leading documentaries and Binge Think branded shows.
The Science Friction venture provides an opportunity for the team to suggest new ideas and encourage story writers to stretch boundaries of conventional structures. Interestingly, when the trope (plot, trick, set-up, narrative structure and a character type) becomes intrusive, distracting the viewer rather than serving as short-hand, it has become a cliché.
